It finally hits me this week...we are picking up our lives and moving to another country for 2 years. We are sad to be leaving friends and family; saying "goodbye for now" is the worst. We've been asked a lot how we feel about leaving, so here are a few feelings we've gone through the past 6 months: - REALLY sad about missing our parents : ( - Ben is sad about missing Moe's - I'm nervous about teaching high school students (in addition to middle school). - We are anxious about the long flight (Dulles - San Fran - Seoul - Singapore - Chiang Mai) - Hopeful we don't get ripped off buying things in Baht ($1 = 36 Baht) - Ready to bare the humidity (and not complain about it)! - Excited about our first apartment together, eating a lot of Thai food, meeting our co-workers, and taking in the Thai culture!
